tldr ; we're not dead, we promise!

chapter 2 is taking quite  a bit longer than we initially anticipated, mainly due to real life circumstances. we're both adults with a quite a few things to juggle, but even when we don't have time to actively work on this project we're still discussing ways to improve things going forward.

that being said, chapter 2's release will bring with it a revamp to the prologue and first chapter. the story will stay the same so there's really no need to replay them, but wording for some dialogue will be changed so certain characters have more consistent accents/speaking patterns across scenes.  along with this, the art and graphics are being given a facelift to give the characters more diverse traits and make the pixel art less soulless.

we're aiming for an early 2025 release, at which point we'll be more on track to finish future chapters quicker!
